Immunisation Update for RNs. Bournemouth

The course tutor is a highly experienced practice nurse, practice nurse course lead at Plymouth University and a nurse prescriber.

Aim: To provide an up-to-date programme of information and resources for registered nurses who are involved with administering vaccines and immunisations to children and adults. The afternoon will be shared with HCAs who require an update on influenza and pneumococcal vaccines.

 The programme will include:

  • National Standards and available resources for health care professionals
  • Immunity and vaccine composition
  • How flexible is the immunisation schedule?
  • PGDs v PSDs
  • Anaphlyaxis
  • Current schedules and changes to the immunisation programme

The price includes tea/coffee on arrival and mid morning and  afternoon.

Lunch will not be supplied but snacks can be purchased at the Moordown Community Centre café or from the nearby sandwich shop. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch

Parking is free and plentiful.

Cost is £90 plus vat per person
