‘This immunisation training course has been approved by PHE/NHS England South (South West) Screening and Immunisation Team as conforming to the national minimum standards for immunisation training’

The course tutor is an immunisation expert who has worked for Public Health England as the immunisation manager  and who regularly contribute to the national screening meetings.

Aim: To provide an up-to-date programme of information and resources for registered nurses who are involved with administering vaccines and immunisations to children and adults.

 The programme will include:

  • National Standards and available resources for health care professionals
  • Immunity and vaccine composition
  • How flexible is the immunisation schedule?
  • PGDs v PSDs
  • Anaphlyaxis
  • Current schedules and changes to the immunisation programme
  • Flu programme
  • HPV vaccination for boys

The price includes tea/coffee on arrival and afternoon.
